ABOUT THIS MEXICAN HEAD DRESS
This museum quality head dress was crafted in Oaxaca for the Guelaguetza´s danza de la pluma (dance of the feather). This is Oaxaca´s most important ceremonial dance and takes place in July and August during los lunes del cerro Guelaguetza festivities. The dance represents the struggle between the Spanish conquerors and the Aztecs.
