This Rooster is a master piece crafted by a legend of Mexican Folk Art: Alfonso Soteno, awarded with multiple national and international pottery prizes.The piece is a surreal representation of the Passion of Christ with Jesus crucifixion on the top of a rooster. It was crafted in Metepec, and dyed with natural pigments called anilines, which add this special vividness to the color. It is made of clay and signed by the artist.
