About this Mata Ortiz ceramic pot
This is a magnificent Mata Ortiz Pot. It has a beautiful round shape, which was crafted entirely by hand; without wheel or molds. The pot has a black burnished clay surface, and a beautiful intricate pattern in orange was painted over it with bigger swirl motifs surrounded by a green contour. This is undoubtedly, a fine and elegant sample of Mexican folk art pottery. The pot includes a ring base.
