ABOUT THIS MATA ORTIZ CERAMIC POT
This Mata Ortiz ceramic pot was hand painted by the talented hands of pottery master Eleno Ortiz, one of the best successors of Juan Quezada. The pot was crafted in burnished black clay and then meticulously painted with two central beige patches filled with geometric patterns, surrounded by stripes of beige patterns beautifully achieved. No pottery wheel was used. This piece includes a ring base.
