This Virgin of Guadalupe Mexican Tree of Life is a nice sample of Mexico's Miniature Folk Art. It is completely made of clay and was hand painted by by the talented hands of Mexico's folk artists from Metepec, a town of very talented pottery artists.
The meaning of this Mexican Tree of Life is the representation of a miniature figure of the most venerated religious figure in Mexico: Our lady, the Virgin of Guadalupe: The holly mother of Jesus, the loving mother and protector of those who worship her and the saint patron of Mexico.
