This amazing textile was made by Huave Indigenous People from San Mateo del Mar at the Coast of Oaxaca. It is 100% cotton and was crafted using the pre columbian back strap loom technique with brocade figures.
The textile displays some of the most traditional figures in Huave iconography such as butterflies, birds, and animals. It was crafted with a fine intuition and aesthetics the green & white combination is subtle and .
This piece is so beautiful that an be framed. It can also be used as a table runner or a home decor accent.
