ABOUT THIS MEXICAN TEXTILE
This cotton rebozo can be used as a shawl, scarf or as a home decor detail such as a bed throw or table runner. It loomed with love by indigenous Zapotec artists from Oaxaca, heirs of a culture that dates back to the year 500 B.C. The patterns that decorate this piece have a strong influence from the decor of the pyramids of Mitla and Monte Albán (pictures from our last trip attached). When you buy a piece like this one you help to keep the ancient Zapotec culture alive. It is 100% cotton and was made using the ancient pedal loom technique.
