This outstanding monkey obsidian vase is a replica of an important aztec pre hispanic piece it was hand crafted in Teotihuacan, Mexico from a single block of stone. It depicts a monkey with a an astonished expression. The piece is very solid and the polishing of the obsidian makes it soft to the touch.
