This Mexican Tree of Life is a nice sample of Mexico's Miniature Folk Art. It has the candelabra structure of most trees of life, plus the Adam & Eve figures of the Genesis tree of life, which is the most famous and popular one. It is completely made of clay and was hand painted by by the talented hands of Mexico's folk men & women from Metepec, a town of very talented pottery artists.
The meaning of this Mexican Tree of Life is the creation of life according to the Genesis book from the Bible with Adam, Eve, the serpent & the apple.
