ABOUT THIS MEXICAN POTTERY CANDELABRA
This is a museum quality Mexican pottery candelabra; a black glazed clay candleholder crafted in Michoacan, Mexico by Purepecha indigenous people from Santa Fe de la Laguna, near the lake of Pátzcuaro, famous for the Day of the Dead festivities. The candelabra is exquisitely decorated with doves and can hold up to 15 candles. An outstanding sample of fine Mexican pottery for sale at Carapan, Mexican Folk art Gallery since 1950.
