ABOUT THIS BACK STRAP LOOMED INDIGENOUS TEXTILE

This  brocade wool & cotton blanket is a masterpiece of Mexican Indigenous Textile Art!  It was all hand crafted using the pre columbian back strap loom technique by Purépecha indigenous people from Angahuan, Michoacan. 
The amount of detail is breath taking and it is so ferfectly crafted that both sides of the fabric are gorgeous!
