This Woman on her knees holding a Pot with a craftswoman doing pottery. A traditional, wood carving made by the “Chamula” or Tzotziles craftsmen from Chiapas. The variety of woods in the area, allows them to produce crafts ranging from home furnishings and toys to art carved wood. The wood carvings are the finest samples of their crafts, being very detailed figures with delicate polished and smooth surfaces. Carved in just one block of wood.
