Mr. Hermosillo is a very renowned artist and is considered one of the masters of Mexican Folk Art. This cross includes the main elements of the passion of christ such as the ladder, the balance as symbol of justice, the snake as reminiscence of the tree of good and evil, the sun and the moon, the rooster and the holly heart of Jesus Christ. At the center, a miniature cros is surrounded by light. Mr. Hermosillo also included the main elements of his profession, the hammer and the pincers.
