Embroidered Mexican Wool Table Runner with Butterflies from Puebla
ABOUT THIS MEXICAN TEXTILE
This 100% Wool textile is a very fine piece crafted by the talented indigenous Nahua women from Hueyapan, Puebla. Since pre hispanic times, they have been crafting textiles with a backstrap loom by attaching a loom to a tree and the other extreme to their waist, just the same way this piece was crafted. It is also beautifully embroidered. It is 100% wool.
